Welcome to FxMed Mental Health
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FxMed Mental Health website (fxmedmentalhealth.com) and related services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
About Our Practice
FxMed Mental Health is a California-based virtual group practice specializing in functional medicine for mental health. Our multidisciplinary team may include a Functional Medicine Practitioner, Psychiatrist, Health Psychologist, and other qualified providers. All clinical services are delivered via telehealth to individuals located in the State of California.
Not Medical Advice
The information provided on this website — including blog posts, educational content, downloadable guides, and general descriptions of our services — is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on this website should be construed as a substitute for professional medical advice from a qualified healthcare provider. Always consult with your physician or other qualified provider before making changes to your treatment plan, medications, or supplement regimen.
No Provider-Patient Relationship
Use of this website, submission of a contact form, downloading our materials, or subscribing to our newsletter does not establish a provider-patient relationship. A provider-patient relationship is established only when you have been formally accepted into the FxMed Mental Health program, completed the required intake paperwork, and received services from a member of our clinical team.
Eligibility
Our clinical services are available to individuals aged 10 and older who are located in the State of California, with limited exceptions for some services with Dr. Wiss outside of California. Treatment of minors requires parental or legal guardian consent.
Accounts and Registration
If you create an account or register for services through our website or patient portal, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without prior written permission. Payment and Fees
FxMed Mental Health is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly. Fees for our programs, testing, and membership are outlined during the intake process and in your applicable service agreements. Superbills are available upon request for potential out-of-network insurance reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance plan.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation and refund terms for the 6-Month Comprehensive Program and the Ongoing Membership are governed by the applicable service agreements provided at the time of enrollment. Appointments cancelled or missed with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to the full visit fee.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and, for patients, by the terms of our Patient Consent for Treatment and applicable federal and state privacy laws including HIPAA.
